OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION SYSTEM

Project description and scope

EnviroFix was retained by BCL, a subsidiary of Siemens, to provide operation and maintenance services to a groundwater remediation system (GWRS) on BCL’s former manufacturing plant in Burlington, ON, Canada.

Project deliverables

The project required the following from EnviroFix:

• Complete overhaul of the system: removal and replacement all the malfunctioning components of the GWRS
• Removal and replacement of repaired filtration components of the system on an as needed basis
• Pumping out of the accumulated sludge in the collection sump on an as needed basis
• Recording and documentation of the maintenance activity to be submitted to the client’s consultant
